TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit Stipulations with Requests for Awards for approval by the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $15,817.50 for the claim of Desica Ingagiola; and $6,195 for the claim of Marie Vander Laan, in compliance with the Appeals Board Orders.
DISCUSSION
Desica Ingagiola has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of her employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance Committee on February 20, 2007, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Desica Ingagiola, based upon a 23 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.

Marie Vander Laan has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of her employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance Committee on February 20, 2007, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Marie Vander Laan, based upon a 13 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.
