DISCUSSION
The Personnel and Civil Service Committee, at its meeting held February 6, 2007 considered communications relative to the above subject.
 
It is the recommendation of the Personnel and Civil Service Committee to the City Council to discuss the Long Beach Police Department staffing levels, and receive a report by Barbara Raymond, co-author of a study commissioned by the RAND Corporation entitled, "Police Personnel Challenges After September 11: Anticipated Expanded Duties and a Changing Labor Pool".
