TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit Compromises and Releases for approval by the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $75,000 for claim of Maria Casiano; $8,500 for the claim of Juan Castro; and $45,000 for the claim of Robert Harris in compliance with the Appeals Board Orders.
DISCUSSION
Maria Casiano has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of her employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance Committee on January 2, 2007, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Compromise & Release by the City and Maria Casiano.
Juan Castro has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach. Robert Harris has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance Committee on January 2, 2007, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Compromise & Release.
