TITLE
Recommendation to grant an extension of time until January 22, 2007 for filing report of the Hearing Officer on the suspension/revocation of entertainment Permit No. BU99041410 issued to Mariposa Restaurant Group LLC, dba Mariposa, 100 W. Broadway, Long Beach, 90802. (District 2)
DISCUSSION
Hearing Officer in the above entitled matter hereby requests an extension of time for filing report of findings, conclusions and decision pursuant to Long Beach Municipal Code Chapter 2.93.050 B 5.
BACKGROUND
The extension request is based on the following considerations:
1. Mediation process conducted on June 29, 2006;
2. Hearing proceedings began September 11,2006;
3. Proceedings were continued several times through October 23, 2006;
4. Proceedings were concluded on December 8, 2006;
The Hearing Officer requests an additional thirty (30) days to submit his findings due to the voluminous transcripts and exhibits that must be reviewed.
SUGGESTED ACTION
Approve recommendation.
