TITLE

Recommendation to adopt a resolution approving the compensation fixed by the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Long Beach for officers and employees of the Long Beach Water Department.

DISCUSSION

On October 6, 2005, the Board of Water Commissioners approved Resolution No. WD-1205 fixing compensation of Water Department employees. On March 30, 2006, the Board adopted Water Department Resolution No. WD-1211, rescinding Resolution No. WD-1205 in order to implement recently negotiated changes to Water Department compensation primarily related to certain occupational skills (skill pays).

We respectfully request that you approve the attached resolution approving the Water Department's Resolution No. WD-1211, as adopted.
