TITLE

Recommendation to suspend the rule contained in Municipal Code Section 2.03.020 (B) relating to the meeting schedule of the City Council in order to cancel the meetings of April 11, 2006 due to Primary Nominating Election day, June 6, 2006 due to General Municipal Election day, and July 4, 2006 due to the holiday.

DISCUSSION

I am requesting that we suspend the Council Rule relating to the meeting schedule of

the City Council regarding the following meeting dates:

> Tuesday, April 11,2006 - PRIMARY ELECTION DAY

> Tuesday, June 6,2006 - GENERAL ELECTION DAY

> Tuesday, July 4,2006 - HOLIDAY
