TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to pay the sum of $11,000 in full settlement of lawsuit entitled Kirun Kim and Sarith Phim v. Greg Karl Adamson; City of Long Beach, et al.
DISCUSSION
On June 10, 2005, plaintiffs were rear-ended by City employee Greg Karl Adarnson while stopped at a red light on Anaheim Street in Long Beach. Sarith Phirn was transported to Community Hospital via ambulance with complaints of back and chest pains. 60th plaintiffs received medical treatment for neck and back pain.
At a court-ordered mediation, a settlement totaling $1 1,000 was reached with plaintiffs.
