TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to pay sum of $8,000 in
full settlement of lawsuit entitled Long Vang, et al. v. City of Long Beach,
et al.
DISCUSSION
On February 14,2004, a police vehicle driven by Kevin Ong collided with a car driven by Long Vang and his wife, Chong Vang. Plaintiffs received 2 1/2 months of chiropractic treatment for their soft tissue neck and back injuries. After negotiating with counsel for the plaintiffs, a settlement totaling $8,000 was reached for all the plaintiffs.

Approve recommendation.
