DISCUSSION
Shatonjala Griggs has made a cIaim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of her
employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance
Committee on July 5,2005, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation
Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Ms. Griggs, based
upon a 24 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be
necessary.
 
William Stow has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his
employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance
Committee on July 5,2005, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation
Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and claimant, based
upon a 26 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be
necessary.
 
Jim Edwards, Jr. has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his
employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance
Committee on July 5,2005, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation
Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award and Prospective Vocational
Rehabilitation Services by the City and Mr. Edwards, based upon a 39 percent disability
rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.
