Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to pay sum of $10,000 in full settlement of lawsuit entitled Hean Uy v. Jason Ur, City of Long Beach, et al.
DISCUSSION
This lawsuit arises out of an automobile accident on December 23,2003 in which a Long Beach employee, in the course and scope of his employment, collided with plaintiffs vehicle. Plaintiff sustained injuries arising out of the accident. Through negotiations between counsel, a tentative settlement of $10,000.00 was reached, subject to City Council approval.
