Recommendation to authorize City Manager to execute subdivision agreements for Tract No. 60688, located between Esther Street and Pacific Coast Highway and Loma Avenue and Termino Avenue; and for Parcel No. 26222, located north of Spring Street between Atlantic Avenue and California Avenue and 33rd Street and Spring Street.

DISCUSSION
In accordance with Long Beach Municipal Code Chapter 20.16, State of California Government Code Section 66458, applicable local subdivision ordinances and subsequent rulings, a final subdivision map for Tract No. 60688, conforming to State Subdivision Map Act requirements, was approved by the City Council on November 9, 2004. Since City Council approval is not necessaw for parcel maps, approval has not been requested for Parcel No. 26222. Subdivision agreements have been prepared, providing for the installation of public improvements required in connection with the subject subdivisions. Contained in the agreement for Tract No. 60688 are subdivision financial guarantees in the amount of $143,900. Contained in the agreement for Parcel No. 26222 are subdivision financial guarantees in the amount of $1,113,150. Vicinity maps are attached showing the location of the proposed developments.
