Discussion

I would like to recognize the Long Beach Unified School District who, in partnership with the Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine and various nonprofit organizations, secured the 21st Century Community Learning Center grant.

This grant will provide vital after school programs at 24 schools in the City of Long Beach. The total amount of the grant that will benefit the youth is $20 million.
