TITLE

Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit Compromise and Release for approval by the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $60,000 in compliance with the Appeals Board Order for Jennifer Gonzales.

DISCUSSION

Jennifer Gonzales has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of her employment with the City of Long Beach.  The Economic Development and Finance Committee on November 5, 2013, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Compromise and Release by the City and Jennifer Gonzales in the amount of $60,000.00.

Approve recommendation.
