Board of Health and Human Services
New Appointments
· Robin Sinks, LBUSD Nominee
Community Development Advisory Commission: Allow the existing members to continue their service on this commission until the establishment of a Community Improvement Commission. This commission would consolidate the functions of Redevelopment Agency Board, the Long Beach Housing Development Company and the Community Development Advisory Commission, as directed City Council in response to the elimination of the Redevelopment Agency.
Cultural Heritage Commission
New Appointments
· Alan Burks, 6th District resident
The Long Beach Housing Development Company: Allow the existing members to continue their service on this commission until the establishment of a Community Improvement Commission. This commission would consolidate the functions of Redevelopment Agency Board, the Long Beach Housing Development Company and the Community Development Advisory Commission, as directed by the City Council in response to the elimination of the Redevelopment Agency.
