TITLE
Recommendation to City Council to concur in the recommendation of the Personnel and Civil Service Committee to receive and confirm appointments to the Citizen Police Complaint Commission (2 appointments); the Parks and Recreation Commission (1 appointment); and the Planning Commission (1 appointment).
DISCUSSION
The Personnel and Civil Service Committee, at its meeting held Tuesday, July 17, 2012, considered communications relative to the above subject.
It is the recommendation fo the Personnel and Civil Service Committee to the City Council that the communication be received and the following appointments confirmed: Citizen Police Complaint Commission (2 appointments); Parks and Recreation Commission (1 appointment); and Planning commission (1 appointment).

· Manuel Walker, 9th District Representative
Parks and Recreation Commission
New Appointment
· Julie Heggeness, 8th District resident to replace Simon George, who has termed out
Planning Commission
New Appointment
· Molly Campbell, 3rd District resident to fill vacancy left by Charles Durnin
