TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to pay the sum of $8,835.72 in full settlement of claim entitled Infinity Insurance Company v. City of Long Beach, Claim No. C12-0033.
DISCUSSION
This suit arises out of an accident in which Infinity Insurance Company's insured vehicle was hit from behind by a City vehicle driven by a City Employee in the course and scope of his employment.
A settlement in the amount of $8,835.72 was agreed upon, subject to City Council approval.
The Economic Development and Finance committee approved the proposed settlement on April 3, 2012.
