TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to pay the sum of $7,275.29 in full settlement of claim by International Exchange AAA, Claim No. C11-0698.
DISCUSSION
On August 23, 2011, a Long Beach Police Officer rear ended a car driven by Emily Rollins. Rollins sustained moderate property damage. Rollins turned the matter over to her insurer, who brings the instant claim for recovery of money paid due to the negligence of our employee. Following settlement discussion, plaintiff agreed to accept $7,275.29 as full settlement of its claim. The settlement was approved by the Economic Development and Finance committee on December 1, 2011.
