TITLE
Recommendation to respectfully request City Council to adopt resolution recognizing in-home care providers' "National Family Caregivers Month."

DISCUSSION
More than 65 million people in the United States provide some form of in-home care to a relative. In-Home Supportive Services (I.H.S.S.) providers provide vital care to those in need and save taxpayers millions of dollars each year. While the hard work of in-home caregivers often goes unnoticed, the number of family and non-family members requiring in-home care is expected to double in the next 30 years.

FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact to the general fund.

SUGGESTED ACTION
Approve recommendation.

Respectfully Submitted,
