DISCUSSION
City Council approval is requested to amend Contract No. 35182 with TruePoint Solutions, LLC, and Contract No. 34816 with Baker Crew Consulting, Inc., to continue providing technical support for existing and future technical projects related to Infor Public Sector, the City of Long Beach’s (City) primary permitting and licensing system.

On October 3, 2017, the City Council awarded contracts to TruePoint Solutions, LLC, and Baker Crew Consulting, Inc., as part of its adoption of RFP TI17-015 for providing as-needed professional and technical services related to Infor Public Sector, for a period of two years, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods, in an amount not to exceed $1,700,000. The contract renewal options have expired.

Infor Public Sector is an enterprise-wide system several departments use to manage workflows and services related to building, code enforcement, planning, business licensing, and permitting. Departments currently using the system include the Development Services, Financial Management, Fire, Health and Human Services, Police, and of Public Works Departments.

At the direction of the City Council, the City is moving forward quickly on a project to replace or upgrade Infor Public Sector. The City will use the current system until all existing workflows are migrated to a new or upgraded system or platform. As such, a ...
