TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit Stipulations with Requests for Awards for approval by Worker's Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $9,320 in compliance with Appeals Board order for claim of Cindy Acero; $72,936.25 and $2,940 for claim of James Winnen; and $49,256.25 for claim of Robert Woodall.
DISCUSSION
Cindy Acero has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of her employment with the City of Long Beach.
The Economic Development and Finance Committee, on March 1,2005, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of a Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Cindy Acero, based upon a 17 percent permanent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.
We, therefore, request authority to submit said Stipulations with Request for Award for approval by the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $9,320.00 in compliance with the Appeals Board order.
