TITLE

DISCUSSION
David Foltz has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach.  The Economic Development and Finance Committee on July 9, 2013, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and David Foltz, based upon a 52 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary; and
 
Maurice Weiner has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach.  The Economic Development and Finance Committee on July 9, 2013, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of three Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Maurice Weiner, based upon a 1) 29 percent disability, with provisions for future medical treatment, 2) 19 percent disability, with provisions for future medical treatment, and 3) 23 percent permanent disability, with provision for future medical treatment as may be necessary.

Approve recommendation.
