DISCUSSION
David Cato has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance Committee on June 21, 2016, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and David Cato, based upon 1) a 13 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary, and 2) a 49 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary. In addition, the parties have stipulated to paying an additional $7,000.00 to resolve apportionment issues.

Richard Farfan has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance Committee on June 21, 2016, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Richard Farfan, based upon a 67 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.
