TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit Stipulations with Requests for Awards for approval by the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $8,046.50 for claim of David Bachman; $52,216.25 for claim of John Huffman; $29,155 and $38,675 for claim of Levon Powell; authority to pay $77,376.25 and $25,900, and a lump sum of $7,000 to resolve a disputed claim for total temporary disability for Eugene Willingham; and $6,475 for claim of Dennis Zigrang in compliance with the Appeals Board Order.
DISCUSSION
David Bachman has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach. The Economic Development and Finance Committee on April 18, 2006, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and David Bachman, based upon a 15 112 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.
