TITLE
Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund (GF) in the Parks, Recreation and Marine Department (PR) by $4,000, offset by the Third Council District one-time infrastructure funds transferred from the Capital Projects Fund (CP) in the Public Works Department to purchase a memorial bench for Marina Vista Park.
DISCUSSION
BACKGROUND
The Third Council District wishes to honor the memory of Stefanie Rae Lomont Yates through the placement of a memorial bench at Marina Vista Park. The bench will be purchased through Partners of Parks.
Stefanie was a young mother, wife, sister and daughter who lost her battle with cancer. We want to honor her memory and all the lives she touched in the short time she was with us.

FISCAL IMPACT
The total appropriation increase of $4,000 in the General Fund (GF) in the Parks, Recreation and Marine Department (PR) is offset by a transfer of one-time infrastructure funds from the Capital Projects Fund (CP) in the Public Works Department (PW).
