TITLE

Recommendation to City Council to concur in recommendation of the Budget Oversight Committee to request City staff to determine the benefits that may be realized by Long Beach residents as a result of contracting out the City's street sweeping operations.

DISCUSSION

The Budget Oversight Committee, at its meeting held Wednesday, march 9, 2011, considered communications relative to the above subject.

It is the recommendation of the Budget Oversight Committee to the City Council to request City staff to determine the benefits that may be realized by Long Beach reisdents as a result of contracting out the City's street sweeping operations.

Approve recommendation.
