TITLE

Recommendation to suspend the rule contained in Municipal Code Section 2.03.020 (B) relating to the meeting schedule of the City Council in order to cancel the meeting of December 6, 2005.

DISCUSSION

I am requesting that we suspend the Council Rule relating to the meeting schedule of the City Council to cancel the following meeting date:

December 6, 2005

Many members of the City Council will be attending the 82"d Annual National League of Cities Congress of Cities and Exposition in Charlotte, North Carolina - December 6 - IO, 2005. We are pleased that several of our councilmembers have assumed national leadership positions in the National League of Cities.

Approve recommendation.
