Recommendation to request City Attorney to accept an easement deed to provide for the widening of the alleys east of Elm Avenue and north of 6th Street adjacent to 431 East Sixth Street. (District 1)
DISCUSSION
It is the goal of the Public Works Department to widen streets and alleys to the standards established in the City's General Plan. When significant new development is proposed;
public rights-of-way adjacent to the site are reviewed for sufficiency to accommodate the new development. For the construction of a 3-story, 10-unit residential condominium
building at 431 East Sixth Street, the dedication of additional alley right-of-way is recommended in order to provide safe and efficient vehicular access to the property. In particular, the dedications recommended are as follows:
