DISCUSSION
It is the goal of the Public Works Department to widen streets and alleys to the standards established in the City's General Plan. When significant new development is proposed;
public rights-of-way adjacent to the site are reviewed for sufficiency to accommodate the new development. For the construction of a 3-story, 10-unit residential condominium
building at 431 East Sixth Street, the dedication of additional alley right-of-way is recommended in order to provide safe and efficient vehicular access to the property. In particular, the dedications recommended are as follows:
