DISCUSSION
On September 6- , I attended the League of California Cities 2006 Annual Conference and Exposition in San Diego, California. The League of California Cities is an association of California city officials who work together to influence policy decisions that affect municipalities. Through
the education and advocacy of its 478 member California cities , the League has helped enhance the quality of life for all Californians. The purpose of the Annual Conference was to review, discuss and make resolutions addressing critical issues facing cities in the Southern California area. Leading experts and city leaders provided information on pertinent topics , including stormwater regulations, litter abatement, ethics in public service , energy conservation , wifi technologies, economic development housing density, eminent domain , code enforcement, public art and much
more.
