TITLE

Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit Stipulations with Request for Award for approval by the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $97,222.50 in compliance with the Appeals Board Order for Suradech Sriwanthana.

DISCUSSION

Suradech Sriwanthana has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach. The Government and Personnel Attorney Client Committee Meeting on February 16, 2021, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Suradech Sriwanthana, based upon a 58 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.

Approve recommendation.
