TITLE

Recommendation to City Council to concur in recommendation of the Budget Oversight Committee to reduce the City Prosecutor's budget by 10 percent for Fiscal Year 2009 to achieve parity with other citywide elected officials.

DISCUSSION

The Budget Oversight Committee, at its meeting held Thursday, August 7,2008, considered communications relative to the above subject.

It is the recommendation of the Budget Oversight Committee that the City Council concur in the recommendation of the committee to reduce the City Prosecutor's budget by 10% for Fiscal Year 2009 to achieve parity with other citywide elected officials.

SUGGESTED ACTION

Approve recommendation.
