Recommendation to receive and file report on attendance at League of California Cities 2007 Mayors and Council Members Executive Forum, July 25 - 27, 2007, Monterey, CA.
DISCUSSION
On July 25-27, 2007, I attended the League of California Cities 2007 Mayors and Council Members Executive Forum in Monterey, California.
The conference provides an opportunity to meet and discuss common issues with councilmembers from throughout the state. Among the workshops I attended were Communicating During a Crisis, Greening Municipal Buildings and Local Ballot Measures to help provide new insights on issues currently facing Long Beach.
SUGGESTED ACTION
Approve recommendation.
