Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to pay sum of $7,000 in full settlement of lawsuit entitled Janadan Naidu v. City of Long Beach, et al.
DISCUSSION
On October 4, 2003, a City police vehicle driven by Wendy Stout rear-ended a car driven by Janadan Naidu. Plaintiff suffered lost wages and received medical treatment for his injuries.
After negotiating with counsel for the plaintiff, a tentative settlement totaling $7,000 was reached.
