TITLE

Recommendation to suspend the rule contained in Long Beach Municipal Code Section 2.03.020 (B) relating to the meeting schedule of the City Council in order to cancel the meeting of May 1, 2007 due to the Special Municipal Election.

DISCUSSION

Since on May 1, 2007 there is a municipal election in Long Beach, I recommend canceling the City Council's regular meeting on that day.
