TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to pay the sum of $25,000 in full settlement of lawsuit entitled Leticia Hernandez v. City of Long Beach.
DISCUSSION
On November 4, 2003, plaintiff tripped on a one and a half inch sidewalk
offset at 1903 Henderson Avenue in Long Beach. Plaintiff received medical treatment for her fractured ankle and fibula. At a court-ordered mediation, a settlement totaling $25,000 was reached with plaintiff.
