TITLE

DISCUSSION

Vice Mayor Richardson and would like to provide support for two community events:

•                     Long Beach Partners of Parks is seeking funding for the Long Beach Juneteenth celebration.

•                     LBLGP Inc. is seeking funding for the 2022 Long Beach Pride Parade and Festival.

Urgency Statement

As the July 5^th City Council meeting is the final meeting before the Pride Parade, which is scheduled for July 10^th, urgency is requested for this item.

FISCAL IMPACT

No Financial Management review was able to be conducted due to the urgency and time sensitivity of this item.

SUGGESTED ACTION

Approve recommendation.
