TITLE
Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department by $1,400 offset by $1,400 of Ninth Council District One-time District Priority Funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department to provide a donation to the following:
Neyham Neighborhood Association, in the amount of $900;
African American Historical Society of Long Beach, in the amount of $500; and
Decrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $1,400 to offset a transfer to the City Manager Department.
DISCUSSION
Vice Mayor Richardson and would like to provide support for two Long Beach community groups:
• “Neyham Neighborhood Association” is seeking funding for the North Long Beach Master Gardeners Program
