DISCUSSION
This request is for a correction of typographical errors in the recommendation that was previously approved by the City Council at its meeting on November 12, 2013.  Subsequent to the City Council's approval of the Third Amendment to Contract No. 32487 with CJ Concrete Construction to increase the contract amount by $5,000,000 and extend the term to December 30, 2014, typographical errors were found to have occurred with regard to amendment numbering and the contract term date.

City Council approval of the recommended amendment is hereby requested to rectify the typographical errors, by modifying the referenced amendment number to the Second Amendment, as well as the contract ending term date to December 31, 2014.

This matter was reviewed by Deputy City Attorney Linda Vu on January 17, 2014 and by Budget Management Officer Victoria Bell on January 23, 2014.

TIMING CONSIDERATIONS
City Council action on this matter is requested on February 11, 2014, in order to execute the corrected contract amendment.

FISCAL IMPACT
This typographical correction has no fiscal impact to the City.

SUGGESTED ACTION
Approve recommendation.
