TITLE

Recommendation to receive and file the Annual Report on the General Plan Open Space and Recreation Element.  (Citywide)

DISCUSSION

On October 15, 2002, the City Council adopted the new Open Space and Recreation Element (OSRE) of the City's General Plan. This plan stipulates that the Planning and Building

Department, in conjunction with the Parks, Recreation and Marine Department, provide an annual report to the Planning Commission and City Council on each of the implementation programs contained in the OSRE. The Planning Commission heard and unanimously approved the attached report on January 6,2005.

Assistant City Attorney Michael Mais reviewed this report on February 15, 2005.

TIMING CONSIDERATIONS

City Council review of this report is not time critical.

FISCAL IMPACT

None.

Approve recommendation.
