TITLE
Recommendation to adopt the amended Salary Resolution for Fiscal Year 2006. (Citywide)
DISCUSSION
The attached amendment to the Salary Resolution incorporates provisions approved in both the Fiscal Year 2005 (FY '05) and Fiscal Year 2006 (FY '06) Adopted Budgets and contains changes necessary for the ongoing administrative process of the City. Many of the changes contained in the amendment will facilitate reorganization and consolidation of departmental activities and are consistent with elements of the Financial Strategic Plan previously approved by the City Council. Attachment A summarizes the changes made to the Salary Resolution last adopted by the City Council on December 23, 2003.
This item was reviewed by Deputy City Attorney, Christina L. Checel, on October 10, 2005 and by Budget Management Officer, David Wodynski, on October 7,2005.
TIMING CONSIDERATIONS
The attached amendment to the Salary Resolution reflects changes required for the efficient administration of the City and as provided in the FY '06 Budget.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no significant fiscal impact for FY '06.
