TITLE
Recommendation to request City Manager to accept an easement deed for the dedication of new street right-of-way related to the development of Douglas Park. (District 5)
DISCUSSION
The Boeing Company is in the process of building infrastructure for the development of Douglas Park. At this time, they wish to extend Cover Street west of that portion dedicated by Tract Map No. 61252-2, as shown on the attached Exhibit A.
The developer-prepared legal descriptions of the area to be dedicated have been reviewed and approved by the Department of Public Works. In conformance with the California Environmental Quality Act, Environmental Report Number 2001051048 was certified for this project.
This matter was reviewed by Deputy City Attorney Linda Trang on April 2, 2009 and Budget and Performance Management Bureau Manager David Wodynski on April 16, 2009.
TIMING CONSIDERATIONS
It is requested that this matter be acted upon by City Council on May 12, 2009, in order to facilitate the development process.
FISCAL IMPACT
A document processing fee of $1,057.00 was paid by the developer and deposited in the General Fund (GP 100) in the Department of Public Works (PW).
