Report and determination of the Hearing Officer on request for revocation of Business License No. BU86026130 for Gilliam & Wales of Dublin, Inc., dba The Pier (a.k.a. Live Bait) at 6251 E. Pacific Coast Highway. (District 3)
DISCUSSION
It is requested that the City Council set the date of hearing to review and consider the report of the hearing officer for Revocation of Entertainment Permit and Business License.
BACKGROUND
In accordance with Section 2.93.050, of the Long Beach Municipal Code, please find enclosed the final findings and recommendations of the Hearing Officer, from the hearing commenced on Thursday, December 11, 2003 and continued through conclusion on Thursday, March 11, 2004. The hearing officer has submitted his report for review. In accordance with Section 2.93.050 (7), the City Council shall set a date of hearing to review and consider the report. All evidence submitted at the evidentiary hearing is available for. review by City. Council upon request.
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL:
Set the date of hearing for Tuesday, May 18,2004, at 5:00 P.M.
.SUGGESTED ACTION
Receive supporting documentation into the record, consider Hearing Officer's report, conclude the hearing; and grant or deny the permit.
