DISCUSSION

The Long Beach City Council has prioritized the support of local Long Beach employees through programs and policies such as Project Labor Agreements, Local Hire, First Source Agreements and others. However, there is a growing need to support our local business community through our city contracts and purchasing agreements. This program is intended to ensure that local Long Beach businesses have a seat at the table when it comes to their presence in city contracts and other agreements across the city.
