DISCUSSION
At the August 16, 2005 City Council meeting, the City Council approved a
recommendation by the City Manager to require Council concurrence on
Redevelopment Agency expenditures of $1 million or more. Upon further consideration of the implications of this action and in the spirit of maintaining a positive working relationship with the Redevelopment Agency board, we request that the City Council rescind its action to require concurrence in RDA expenditures of $1 million or more.
