TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to pay sum of $95,000, in full settlement of lawsuit entitled Julie Mullins v. City of Long Beach, et aI., Los Angeles Superior Court Case No. BC721223.
DISCUSSION
Plaintiff alleges she was injured as a result of an auto accident involving Long Beach Police Officer Mary Marshke on October 15, 2017.
Following extensive negotiations, Plaintiff agrees to accept $95,000.00 inclusive of attorneys' fees and costs - as a full, global settlement of this case.
The settlement was discussed in closed session, and approved, by the Economic Development and Finance Committee on February 18, 2020.

Approve recommendation.
