TITLE

DISCUSSION
Manuel Lopez has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach.  The Economic Development and Finance Committee, on April 5, 2011, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Manuel Lopez based upon a 76 percent disability rating, with provision for a life pension at the rate of $123.69 per week thereafter, subject to cost-of-living increases, with the provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.

Frank Torres has made a claim for injuries allegedly sustained in the course of his employment with the City of Long Beach.  The Economic Development and Finance Committee on April 5, 2011, approved the submission to the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board of Stipulations with Request for Award by the City and Frank Torres, based upon a 48 percent disability rating, with provision for lifetime medical care as may be necessary.
