TITLE
Recommendation to receive and file a report on an updated preliminary budget projection including solutions to balancing the Fiscal Year 2019 budget shortfall. (Citywide)
DISCUSSION
On December 19, 2017, an initial preliminary projection was provided to the City Council. The Budget Office has continued to work on the preliminary budget projection for FY 19 and an update will be presented, including solutions to balancing the FY 19 budget.
This matter was reviewed by Deputy City Attorney Amy R. Webber and by Finance Director John Gross on January 29, 2018.
TIMING CONSIDERATIONS
City Council action is requested on February 6, 2018.

There is no fiscal impact associated with this recommendation.
