TITLE

Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund (GF) in the Development Services Department (DV) by $30,000 offset by a transfer of the Sixth Council District one-time infrastructure funds from the Capital Projects Fund (CP) in the Public Works Department (PW) to support local business facade improvements for cultural expansion and promotion in the Sixth Council District.

DISCUSSION

The Sixth Council District would like to allocate $30,000 of one-time infrastructure funds to the Development Services Department for business facade improvements within Cambodia Town along the Anaheim Street corridor, as highlighted in the Anaheim Vision Plan. The funds will be used to improve the facades of one or two properties with a cultural-representative design that will serve as an example for other businesses in the area.

FISCAL IMPACT

The total appropriation increase of $30,000 in the General Fund (GF) in the Development Services Department (DV) is offset by a transfer of one-time infrastructure funds from the Capital Projects Fund (CP) in the Public Works Department (PW).
