TITLE

Recommendation to authorize City Manager to execute an agreement with the firm of Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, in the matter entitled Hausauer v. City of Long Beach, Case No. BC398898.

DISCUSSION

The City Council is requested to authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with the firm of Liebert Cassidy Whitmore for an additional $200,000.00, not to exceed $295,000.00 in order that they may continue to represent the City's interest in the above-entitled case.  This firm was retained to represent the City due to a conflict of interest.

Approve recommendation.
