TITLE
Recommendation to receive and file report on travel to Sacramento for the League of California Cities Environmental Quality Policy Committee meeting on June 22, 2006.

DISCUSSION
Due to a last minute scheduling conflict, in February, I was unable to attend the ICA Winter Seminar on February 17,2006 trough February 19,2006. CTA travel issued the City a credit for the amount of the ticket in lieu of a refund. This credit was used for travel to Sacramento for the League of California Cities Environmental Quality Policy Committee meeting, a committee of which I am a member.

During the committee meeting, Assembly member Lois Wolk, discussed flood control and Legislative Solutions. An update on the League's Smarter Growth Discussions was given by League of California Cities Legislative Representative, Bill Higgins.

SUGGESTED ACTION
