TITLE
Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to pay the sum of $15,000 in full settlement of lawsuit entitled Juliet Ebner v. City of Long Beach, Case No. NC037701.
DISCUSSION
On October 25, 2005, Plaintiff tripped and fell over a raised portion of the sidewalk located behind the Yacht Club at Alamitos Bay Marina. As a result of the incident, Plaintiff incurred substantial medical expenses. After extensive discussion, a tentative settlement of $15,000 was reached.
The Economic Development and Finance Committee approved the proposed settlement on April 3, 2007.

Approve recommendation.
